A long history
The house was built in late XIX century by an important Italian architect as a residence for his family. In the 70’s it was declared Site of Significance by the local government of San Antonio de Areco. Later in 1976, it was bought by the current owners’ family. Our main objective is to make our guests feel as if they were at home, enjoying pleasant moments, such as a peaceful chat while having a drink with relatives or friends at the inn.

Place
Placed in front of the Plaza Gomez, Posada de la Plaza has a winter garden with an enjoyable view of the patio, a living-room facing the Plaza and a breakfast-room from where our guests can appreciate the amazing courtyard with old cypresses, oaks and liquidambars, among other trees. They can also relax in fresh, shaded spots or lie under the sun. Later, as the sunset approaches, they can have a drink in the patio, as it used to be some time ago.

Installations and services
The inn has six double rooms, one triple and one quadruple.

In Posada de la Plaza you will find the original furniture of the house when it was inherited by the present owners. The building was later restored keeping the antique house style.

Linen, safe deposit box, TV, WiFi, individual air conditioning, individual heating. Traditional breakfast as well.
